Frequently Asked Questions
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts at 2:00 PM. This will give you time to park, find your seat, and catch up with other guests before the ceremony begins.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, we kindly request formal attire. For men, suits or tuxedos are appropriate. For women, cocktail dresses, formal gowns, or dressy separates are perfect. The ceremony will be held outdoors on the lawn, so please consider appropriate footwear.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Due to space limitations at our venue, we can only accommodate the guests named on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
Will there be transportation between the ceremony and reception?
Since our ceremony and reception are at the same venue, you won't need transportation between them. However, we recommend arranging transportation back to your accommodation after the reception if you plan to drink.
Are children welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you the opportunity to let loose and enjoy the evening! If you need help finding childcare in the area, please reach out to us.
What will the weather be like?
Late March in Lexington can be unpredictable. The average temperature is around 55-65F (13-18C) during the day, but it can be cooler in the evening. We recommend bringing a jacket or wrap for the evening portion of the celebration.
Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
We're planning an outdoor ceremony on the lawn with the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains as our backdrop. In case of inclement weather, we have a lovely indoor backup location at the venue.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by February 22, 2026, so we can finalize our plans and give accurate numbers to our vendors.
